We are happy to announce that we are invited to join the planned EME activity from Vatican City, HV0A in JN61FV, organized by Sergio, IK0FTA and Francesco, IK0FVC. They made it possible to receive permission for this operation, the very first ever activity on GHz bands.
This will be our schedule:
18.Sept (Friday) 1000-1200z and 1700-1900z: 9cm, 3400.100MHz
18.Sept (Friday) 1400-1600z: 6cm (not sure yet
about this, pse keep checking)
19.Sept (Saturday) 1040-1900z: 23cm, 1296.100MHz (maybe some breaks for lunch and dinner)
20.Sept (Sunday) 1130-2100z: 13cm, 2320.100MHz (RX also on 2304.100MHz, with break for dinner)
We will be operating in JT65C and we are always TX first. We will listen on our own echo. Please consider that when calling us. If you can decode us, keep calling. If we are working someone, do not stop calling. If we can copy you in the speaker, we might switch to CW to work you again. However, priority is given to work as many new ones as possible.
The equipment is the same used by Herman and me during JW activity in February this year:
1.5m dish with 175W on 23cm, 300W on 13cm and 60W on 9cm.
Please note that changes to the schedule are possible and we will do our best to announce them here as quick as possible. Please keep checking this information.
Log will be uploaded to Lotw and QSL via IK0FVC as usually.
