Hello ALL,
I will go to Majuro is. (RJ57QC), Marshall (DXCC V7) for my vacation with 2m EME operation goods this year. The tour members are V73YL(JP3AYQ), V73H(JJ3CIG), V73A(JH3QFL) and me who operate HF bands and serve IOTA(OC-029).
The operation at Majuro will be started moon pass from Sep 24 to Sep 27 at local time(also prefer to do for 28, but depends on the situation).
Flight and hotel has been booked already.
Though call sign was requested a few months ago, the approval process is still in progress at this moment.
I requested V73EME for this vacation. (I hope to get one next month.)
I'm now preparing the equipments and antenna system.
Setup is YAESU FT817, ITALAB Phoenix1000A, Create Design 2x211A Antenna and homemade LNA.
Operation mode is JT65B only and QRV frequency will be on 144.130 +-QRM/QRN
I'm sorry it is not available for internet environment at this moment.
If the WIFI environment in the hotel shack is complete, I'll also QRV on JT65 EME Link by N0UK.
I have a concern about the location in Majuro. The operation window will be very narrow by the reason peculiar to this island. I'll be able to QRV only when the elevation degree is UP from some degrees because that the hotel building (3 stories) bothers the way to the moon.
Unfortunately,the hotel is built from east to west and the garden is located the north part (south is the main road). We have to build the antenna at the north garden which width from hotel room to sea is about 5-10m only. It's very nice view for HF operation of the direction to EU/W/JA. hihi
I'm anxious it on the map simulation in the present, though I will try to find out the applicable place at the site.
Anyway, I will go to Majuro and QRV 2m EME as scheduled and do my best as much as possible.

Hi ALL,
Unfortunately,I can not expect QRV on the line of N0UK board due to poor internet environment at the Hotel.
We are able to use internet only the cable(no WiFi) near the hotel front(charge).
I will be up the log on this site at batch processing.

V73EME poped up this day in the N0 chatt.
Kay reportet that he is blocked some time/directions by the hotel and as well some rain and as well internet connection problems also high internet costs. He's running 2 x 11el/H pol witt 700watts.His QRG was reported 144.130MHz.
