| JP42 activated by DK2BJ and LA0BY Call: LA0BY/p Locator: JP42VP MWS: 34 From: 2016-06-13 To: 2016-06-20 DXCC: LA Activity: ES-MS Band: 50-70-144 JP42 activated by DK2BJ and LA0BY DK2BJ Uli and LA0BY Stefan will activate JP42VP during mid-June on the VHF bands, perhaps joined by another operator. Focus will this time be on Sporadic-E, this means mostly 6 m and 4 m, but if we are very lucky the MUF may reach even 2 m. We will participate in the 4 m NAC on June 16 and in the IARU R1 50 MHz Contest on June 18/19. During periods with no Es we will work MS on 2 m and 4 m in FSK. The horizon from our cottage will not be perfect but should be reasonably good towards Europe. DK2BJ may activate 1-2 other squares after the JP42-activity.
